Refunds (subscription charges)
Refunds usually depend on who billed you. If you subscribed inside an app or on a streaming device, the refund request often must be filed with Apple, Google Play, Roku, or Amazon—not the streaming service itself.
Start here (most common)
- Request an Apple subscription refund
- Request a Google Play subscription refund
- Roku subscription charges: refunds & what to do if denied
- Amazon subscription charges: Prime Video add-ons & Prime
Quick checklist
- Cancel first (to stop future charges).
- Find the charge in your billing provider history (Apple/Google/Roku/Amazon).
- Submit a refund request with the billing provider.
- Save confirmation screens/emails.
- If denied, escalate (support/chat) or dispute only as a last resort.
